The Kalua Kleen bulk Laundry Liquid sachets are designed to use with a standard automatic washing machine, either top or front load, set your cleaning cycle and wash. The handy 20ml size is ideal for a single regular-sized load of laundry and will help your guest’s clothes come out sparkling clean.
Depending on how your property runs it’s laundry facilities, the single serve packets can either be sold to your guests for a nominal price or provided as part of your laundry service.
Kalua Kleen Bulk Laundry Liquid sachets are phosphate-free which eliminates phosphates going into waterways to prevent the spread of algae blooms. Plus, Kalua Kleen Laundry Liquid helps to care for the environment by using packaging with the EcoPure® additive – a revolutionary organic plastic additive that significantly increases the biodegradation1 rate of plastics and plastic products.

Single-Serve Laundry Liquid Sachets for Hotel and Accommodation Laundry Facilities
Kalua Kleen Laundry Liquid Sachets 20ml are designed for hotels, motels, serviced apartments, BnBs, hostels, and vacation rentals that offer guests access to laundry facilities on-site or in-room. Each sachet contains 20ml of laundry liquid, which is the right amount for a single regular-sized load in a standard automatic washing machine, whether top or front loading. Guests simply add the sachet to the machine, select their wash cycle, and wash. Properties can choose to make the sachets available for guests to purchase at a nominal price, or include them as part of the laundry service offering.
Kalua Kleen Laundry Liquid Sachets are phosphate-free. Phosphates were widely used in laundry detergents but were banned from use in Australian laundry products in 2014 due to their contribution to algae blooms in waterways. By using a phosphate-free formula, Kalua Kleen avoids introducing phosphates into the wastewater stream. The product packaging uses the EcoPure® additive, which the manufacturer states significantly increases the biodegradation rate of plastics in landfill and marine environments. Once a sachet has been opened, the liquid inside keeps for up to 6 months.
The sachets are available in two quantity options: a Half Carton of 250 sachets or a Full Carton of 500 sachets. Carton dimensions are 45 x 25 x 35 cm and the carton weighs 11 kg. The Kalua Kleen bulk laundry liquid sachets uses plastic-packaging containing the EcoPure® additive. EcoPure® is a revolutionary organic plastic additive that significantly increases the biodegradation1 rate of plastics and plastic products.
EcoPure® causes plastic to biodegrade* through a series of chemical and biological processes in a landfill disposal environment and marine environment. As a result, EcoPure® plastics biodegrade in 3~5 years on average compared to 450~5000 years for current plastic biodegradation time.

Phosphates were used for a long time in laundry and dishwashing detergents for their ability to cut through oil and grease and soften water. However, the downside of increased phosphates in waste water that eventually made it into our waterways was it encouraged the growth of algae blooms which had a determental effect on the native plant and animal life. As a result phosphates were banned from laundry detergents in Australia from 2014.
