The Blumme Organica Pleat Wrapped Body Soap 40g is a single-use guest bar soap available through LePack Accommodation Supplies. Each 40g bar is individually pleat wrapped and designed for placement in hotel, motel, resort, serviced apartment, BnB, Airbnb, hostel, and vacation home bathrooms. At 40g, it is a larger bar than the Blumme Organica 20g version, making it a suitable option for properties that prefer a more substantial bar for their guests. The soap is made with organic botanicals and delivers a fresh citrus fragrance.

The formula is both paraben free and CDEA free. Parabens are synthetic preservatives associated with hormonal disruption, and CDEA (Cocamide Diethanolamine) is a foaming surfactant linked to potential health concerns when absorbed through skin contact. Removing both from the formula reflects a cleaner ingredient approach for guest bathroom products. The packaging incorporates the EcoPure additive, which is designed to increase the biodegradation rate of plastic materials. According to EcoPure, plastics with this additive biodegrade in approximately 3 to 5 years on average, compared to 450 to 5000 years for standard plastics in landfill conditions.

The Blumme Organica Pleat Wrapped Body Soap 40g is available in 50 qty or full carton (250 qty), making it suitable for accommodation properties of different sizes. The Blumme Organica Pleat Wrapped Body Soap 40g use plastic-tubes containing the EcoPure® additive. EcoPure® is a revolutionary organic plastic additive that significantly increases the biodegradation¹ rate of plastics and plastic products.

EcoPure® causes plastic to biodegrade* through a series of chemical and biological processes in a landfill disposal environment and marine environment. As a result, EcoPure® plastics biodegrade in 3~5 years on average compared to 450~5000 years for current plastic biodegradation time.

Blumme Organica Pleat Wrapped Body Soap 40g is CDEA-free

Cocamide DEA or by the full name Cocamide Diethanolamine is a chemical surfactant that is commonly used in skin and hair care products as a foaming agent and to help thicken the liquid, made by combining coconut oil with a chemical called ethanolamine. However, CDEA has also found to be potentially carcinogenic² (cancer-causing) and generally absorbed through skin contact. As a result, the use of CDEA in skin and hair care products has reduced significantly. The Blumme Organica range is CDEA free.

Blumme Organica Pleat Wrapped Body Soap 40g is Paraben free

Parabens are a group of chemicals widely used as artificial preservatives in cosmetic and body care products since the 1920s. As cosmetic products can degrade, paraben chemicals have been used to prevent and reduce the growth of harmful bacteria and mould, increasing the shelf life of the product. However, parabens can act like the hormone estrogen in the body and disrupt the normal function of hormone systems affecting male and female reproductive system functioning, reproductive development, fertility and birth outcomes³. The Blumme Organica products are paraben free.
