Leading wholesale hotel supplies provider LePack Accommodation Supplies has introduced three new ranges of guest bathroom amenities, plus a range of guest cleaning products. Over the last few months, being able to source consistent supplies of guest amenities from Australian distributors has been challenging, so LePack has now sourced and manufactured its own amenity products for the Australian market.
These wonderful new products are now available to buy.
The three ranges of guest bathroom amenities are designed to cater to differing levels of property, room classes, guest expectations and budgets.
Blumme Organica
This range is our classic (entry level) range of amenities made for those properties purchasing their amenities on a budget. However, we have not spared on the quality with a fabulous fragrance of organic botanicals and citrus. Maru Essentials
The Maru Essentials range is our luxury (top-tier) range of bathroom amenities, with a stylish teal coloured design and gold writing that will be an attractive centrepiece in any bathroom. The key ingredient of Maru Essentials is Marula Oil which is derived from a nut from the Marula fruit tree native to South Africa. Marula Oil which is high in antioxidants, essential fatty acids, vitamin C, E and amino acids, it moisturises the skin while nourishing and smoothing dry, dull hair. Maru Essentials is a lovely fruity, floral fragrance with a warm nutty undertone. The range includes:

- Reducing the impact of single use plastics with EcoPure® biodegradable plastic – with the constant government and media scrutiny in Australia around single-use plastics, LePack is committed to sustainable practices by using biodegradable plastic packaging. The plastic in our amenity packaging contains EcoPure®, a plastic additive that significantly increases the biodegradation* rate of plastics and plastic products. EcoPure® causes plastic to biodegrade* through a series of chemical and biological processes in a landfill disposal environment on average in 3-5 years compared to 450-5,000 years for current plastic products.
- Our amenity products are CDEA-free – Cocamide DEA or by the full name Cocamide Diethanolamine is a chemical surfactant that is commonly used in skin and hair care products as a foaming agent and to help thicken the liquid. It is made by combining coconut oil with a chemical called ethanolamine. CDEA has been found to be carcinogenic (cancer-causing) as it can generally be absorbed through the skin. Even in small quantities, it can have some side effects such as itching. All of our LePack branded amenities are CDEA-free.
- Our amenity products are Paraben-free – Parabens are a group of chemicals that have widely been used as artificial preservatives in cosmetic and mody care products since the 1920’s. As cosmetic products can degrade, parabens have been used to prevent the growth of mould and harmful bacteria to increase the shelf life of the product. However, parabens can act like the hormone estrogen in the body and disrupt the normal function of hormone systems affecting male and female reproductive system functioning, reproductive development, fertility and birth outcomes. All of our LePack branded amenities are Paraben free
Kalua Kleen cleaning products
In addition, LePack Accommodation Supples has introduced kitchen and laundry guest cleaning sachets. Ideal for properties where there are guest kitchen and/or guest laundry facilities, our cleaning sachets will allow guests to clean with a minimum of fuss.
All of our cleaning products are phosphate-free which eliminates phosphates makingtheir way into waterways to prevent the spread of algae blooms. Plus our Kalua Kleen products help to care for the environment by using packaging with the EcoPure® additive – a revolutionary organic plastic additive that significantly increases the biodegradation* rate of plastics and plastic products.
The Kalua Kleen range comes in cartons of 500 sachets and includes:
* Biodegradation rates of EcoPure®-treated plastic materials measured according to the ASTM D5511 test method. Tests are generally conducted using 20% to 30% solids content; solids content in naturally wetter landfills range from 55% to 65%, while the driest landfills may reach 93%. Actual biodegradation rates will vary in biologically-active landfills according to the type of plastic used, the product configuration, and the solid content, temperature and moisture levels of the landfill.
